Luton Airport train journeys start with the DART

Luton Airport Parkway is not inside the terminal. Thameslink says the Luton DART takes under four minutes between the airport and Parkway, and that a through-ticket booked to or from “Luton Airport” includes the DART.

From Parkway, direct Thameslink services run to central London stations including St Pancras, Farringdon, City Thameslink, Blackfriars and London Bridge. Current journey pages show the fastest Parkway → St Pancras services in the low-to-mid 20 minute range.

Coach advantage

The coach starts at the terminal and serves several London areas

National Express currently lists direct Luton Airport services to London stops including Golders Green, Baker Street, Paddington, Marble Arch and Victoria. Its current route page says the fastest London journey is around 40 minutes to Golders Green, while the full journey to Victoria is usually longer and traffic-dependent.

St Pancras / King’s Cross

DART + train is the first option to compare because the rail arrival matches your destination area closely.

Paddington / Victoria

A direct coach stop may remove a Tube journey after the train. Compare door-to-door time, not just rail speed.
